Mahalo (Thanks) for surfing in & taking a look what I photograph here in Hawaii. I am a Free Lance Photographer based in Aiea who has a passion for Hawaii and Hawaiian music. My favorite thing about photography is being able to capture the beauty here on Oahu (or where ever my camera may travel) along with getting behind the scenes at special events and concerts.
I have a laid back approach to my photography. I am a "professional photographer" according to the rule that I have many photos published and made my main source of income because of my camera. I'm not the professional photographer who went to photography school & knows what f-stops really do. Think of me more like your friend, who LOVES to take way to many photos, but later you were glad I was there with my camera(s) capturing the moments because I caught those memories that you will enjoy sharing!

I shot over 300 weddings at Charleston Chapel for Weddings in Charleston, SC between late June 2005 until I moved back to Hawaii in mid August 2007. If you are looking for photos during this time frame please e-mail me at Kathyboast@aol.com
Kathy Boast Photography is about the Aloha. Aloha is not just in Hawaii, it can be where ever you are, you just have to feel it with your heart. My hope is to capture the magic in something on film and share it with you via this website.

I first moved to Hawaii on November, 10, 1997. It wasn't until I heard a song, "I Love Hawaii" in late 1998 by Danny Couch, that my passion for Hawaii began. The song used in the slide show below is another song written by Danny Couch, "Hawaii, My Paradise" It's one of his many that inspires me to get out and SHOOT Hawaiian Photos! I hope you enjoy the slide show of some of my favorite photos. The song is on the CD, "I Love Hawaii - The Journey"
