Allison is one of Hawaii's youngest recording artist who has won awards for her first CD self titled, Allison. Allison, also known as Allie, has been recording since age 7. She has appeared on television once a month since age 7. Aloha Joe radio has songs from Allison's CD in rotation. Also you can hear Allison on Gone Fishing For Blue Skies (Check play list) Allie, finished recording her first CD in 2002 with Pierre Grill at Rendez'Vous Recording Studio in Honolulu, Hawaii which allowed her to enter in the 6th Annual Hawaii Music Awards. Allison was the youngest artist who won and performed at the 2003 awards at the Hawaii Music Awards held at the Aloha Towers Market Place. Allison has attending the awards each year since and has also attends the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (the Hawaiian Grammy if you will) Beside having had the honor of opening the Hawaii Music Awards live on the internet back on April 6, 2003, Allison opened the 3rd annual Omni Youth Awards in L.A. with the song, Let There Be Peace On Earth. Allison returned in 2006 to pick up her second Omni Youth Award for BEST BIG BAND- SWING. She also performed Orange Colored Sky. We can see why Allison has been invited back to L.A. to work on other projects so we never know where might see/hear her next. Remember you read about her here first! In 2003, Allie went back in the recording studio to work on her follow up CD, Mele Kalikimaka. This Seasonal CD, released December 18, 2003, includes 11 songs. One song that shows off Allie's Hawaiian Language skills is the well known song, Rainbow Connection. She sings the song in both English & in Hawaiian. Allie also knows the hula to the song Rainbow Connection. And was back in the studio again in 2005 & 2008 to work on a few more Christmas songs. Allison recorded As Allie gets older, her voice is getting better. She has
amazing pitch she has been told by many professionals in the business. With
her changing voice, she just may consider re recording, I'll Be By Your Side,
one of two songs written by singer/songwriter, Tim Couch. These songs are found
on her first CD, ALLISON. So what else keeps this young entertainer busy when not in class, the recording studio, hula, performing or hanging out with friends? Allie is a member of The Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus and also has been featured in many plays and on television shows. Look for more of what's new with ALLISON at her MYSPACE.com page |

"Allison has been
part of our station’s rotation for several years. Each time we air a cut, we
get email! I think her unique sound really touches the audience. She is a very
talented and determined young lady for sure! When I was her age, I was trying
to learn to ride my bike with no hands but Allison is working on her fourth
album! " ALOHA JOE®

Danny Couch (1999-present)
Danny Couch, the GOLDEN VOICE of HAWAII. My first (known)
published photograph was of Danny Couch holding his Hoku Award for the Single of
the Year 2000 for the song THESE ISLANDS as mentioned above. I shot this image the day I bought my
first SLR 35mm camera. May 22,2000. A year before I had set a goal for myself to shoot Danny's next CD cover. So to prove to Danny I could shoot a cover for him I had to do a LOT of convincing by shooting great photographs. At the time he wasn't even in the studio. Over the years I did manage to capture him for a couple of promo photos and a few dozen were use on another website I partnered with. Over the years I have shot and shared hundreds of photos of Danny with his fans. With persistence came four CD covers for Danny Couch Records along with covers for other musicians. (As seen above)
So I would have to thank Danny for getting me started doing what I LOVE to do, capturing the moment and sharing it with others. Danny Couch's music is also an inspiration for my art photography and I have used his music on a number of slide shows. Below is one of my first slide shows I made. It includes two versions of Danny Couch's THESE ISLANDS.
